C300: C300 files, Lacie Rugged Thunderbolt Drive, and Mountain Lion, error code -50???

Not sure what's causing this. But I seem to be unable to back up my Canon C300 files after trying to copy from my MAc Pro Desktop to my Lacie Thunderbolt 1TB drive. Every time I try to copy my C300 files, I get this message:

the operation cannot be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -50)

Has anyone else run into this problem? The reason I posted in the C300 section is because it only happens when I try to transfer C300 clips.
No problem transferring 1DC or Panasonic GH3 clips.

Thank you in advance.

I'm currently transferring C300 clips to a couple of Lacie Thunderbolt rugged drives and not having an issue so far... I'm using a Macbook Retina and the Canon XF utility to transfer, though. Will let you know if I run into the same error code.

Hi cowpunk, thanks. I just realized that there seems to be an issue with my hard drive after running disk utilities, so it may not have been anything to do with c300 files after all. Will try again after fixing the drive. I just copied c300 files on my MBR and no problem.
