C300: C300 ext cables lock solution to avoid breaking

Hi.

I've been on a documentary series on Amazonia shooting with a C300 mkI and very worried about breaking the ext1/ext2 cables/connections since it's so fragile and loose IMO. It's also very usual that cables disconnect when I press the camera against my chest for some kind of shots which are made handheld. I made some research and didn't find any solution, like a third party lock port for those cables or any tips about how to deal with them, since it's very easy to disconnect them in the middle of a shot.

Any suggestions?

I have no idea if there is a hardware solution. I have had the C300 Mark I Cable 1 broken twice. The first time, I had rigged the camera and put it in a backpack where the cable was rubbing. Second time I think it was a handling issue. Since then I remove the monitor and cables carefully while packing and also take care while carrying it in the field. You have to see that the cable doesn't get bent.
