C300 Dust on sensor?

Hi, our camera developed purple dots scattered in a tiny region of the image. I made sure it wasn't the lens, ND's or the protective glass.

any suggestions to clear this? is it likely dust or sensor problem?

Yikes. I think you better call Canon. Hope this isn't a problem with other cameras.

It just appeared during yesterday's shoot. the day before, it was clean. I'm from the Philippines and there's no office today (sunday) and the cam is on a production shoot which i can't cancel. my 2nd c300 will arrive tuesday.

anyone care to call Canon US to inform them about this issue? i'm sure Canon has better support there.

NO idea if this will work or not but following the instructions here cleared a highly visible hot pixel on my 7D. Hey, they're both Canons...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJBuGhMnvFo

If you download the booklet from canon "best practices guide" http://www.learn.usa.canon.com/app/p..._Canon_USA.pdf it is number 9 check the sensor. Hopefully this will help

Yes, that is a dirty sensor. Clean your sensor, it is easy to do. Simply blowing will probably do the trick.
