4K Bayer sensors as with the C300 II provide around .5-.67x resolution before aliasing: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?356356-Actual-Camera-Resolution-Before-Aliasing
So the C300 II 4K = 3840*.67 = 2572 at best. It’s really an HD camera (still aliases in HD because the OLPF is tuned for “4K”). To get real 4K we need 3840/.67 = 5.7K minimum, ideally more along with good downsample filtering to reduce aliasing.
