I was thinking of picking up a set of Tentacle Sync timecode boxes for my C100s. But I was wondering if anybody knew if you could use the C100 Mki to jam the Tentacle through the HDMI port? I'd probably just use my Zoom F4 to jam sync the Tentacle and connect that to the L channel of my C100s; but I sometimes need to set up a C-cam. Also, has anybody done a hop with the Tentacle sync track via Sennehiser G3 to another camera? Did you encounter any noticeable latency and were you able to convert that file for use in Premiere? I was thinking of using my G3s to feed more cameras. Thanks in advance for any help.

Wish I could help you, because I have a set of Tentacles and they are great, but I'm using them on cameras and mixers/recorders that have dedicated TC. But to my knowledge, there is no way to jam TC via HDMI.
Also, if you need to jam that many cameras, I'd just buy more boxes instead of tying up wireless units.

Thanks, glad to hear the Tentacles work well. I'll tell you if it works via hdmi. I figure I'd give it a try since the Canon embeds TC through HDMI. I'll sometimes add a couple of GoPros to cover myself on jobs and thought I could use the G3s to add timecode. I often don't use my wireless kits so its not sacrificing any workflow. But I'll probably end up buying another pair of the Tentacles down the line if these work as well as everybody says.
