C100: C100 w/ BNCR mount lens

Just go my C100 today. Feels real solid and fairly easy to get around the functions. I was in line for the BMC. But decided to with the C100 because all for my cinema lens will work well with this camera. Which are all super speeds. The BMC crop factor had me rethinking my lens. I'll probably get a BMC somewhere down the line.

I have several shoots starting to line up for the New Year so the whole BMC backorder was killing me.

Anyways, now I have time to experiment with the C100 before the paid shoots happen. I'm gonna do some quick live music shoot, in next couple of days, to put the camera in some difficult lighting situations. I'll post what I get.

Here's a little camera porn;)

Here's a quick live music footage I put together. Shot with c100 with BNCR 20mm and second cam was the canon 7d with bncr 35mm. I think you can figure which cameras which. It was very dark and I did a quick grade and noise reduction. The c100 was great to shoot with. The EVF actually worked great for me. At first I thought the EVF was going to be difficult to use but it was fine. I definitely think it will be useful in sunny outdoor situations.

No, it wouldn't be useful in sunny outdoors. I just tried that in bright sunshine with snow reflection. Immediately bought a hoodman loupe when I got home.
