Hello fellow users,
I've recently acquired a c100 and i'm doing some testing in real world situations to get a better feel of the cam. Thought i'd share some footage I shot recently in a night club where I wanted to see how high i could get my ISO before it became really unusable. With that being said I shot in this night club with ISO 6400 and the Rokinon 14 T3.1 with no attached lighting whatsoever. Only lighting was that of the club environment. Pulled footage from card, created some music, dropped footage on timeline, exported, uploaded.
I also (being a dad) shot my kids going to school. Unfortunately my son decided to keep on walking as he didn't want me to record him, so I just shot my daughter. When i went inside I should have removed the ND, but alas I was rushing and just saw darkness and brought up the ISO. Lesson learned.
I love the fact that this camera can be so discreet. I was able to just hold the camera by the handle and just walk around. Every once 'n awhile i'd glance down to see how things were looking, but for the most part I just held it by my leg and walked. Pointing the cam in the general direction of my daughter.
Anyhow, I just thought i'd share since this place has been a valuable resource to me and I wanted to contribute something other than just some staged test shooting.
