Seems like we may want to have either a dedicated section for the C100 or (better yet) rename this section something like Canon Cinema Cameras and allow the poster to choose between the four models Canon makes. Kind of like the way the Canon APSC and FF sections are. What say you, mods?

TBH with the C100 / C300 / C500 sharing sensors, Canon LOG etc I actually think it makes more sense to rename this part of the forum to Canon Cinema EOS cameras. The base functions in all will be much the same.

I agree... Most probably, when this section of the forums was opened, the C300 was the only EOS Cinema camera. At this point, it would make no sense to have separate sections for C100 and C500. The section should be simply renamed "Canon EOS Cameras". In fact the whole "Canon" section of this forum requires some restructuring, as the current structure is considerable outdated.
The "CANON - Video Cameras" section should be subdivided under the following sub-sections:
* "Canon HDV Camcorders" - XH and XL-H1 Cameras
* "Canon HD Camcorders" - XF Cameras
* "Canon EOS Cinema Cameras" - C cameras
Just a suggestion. I know that you require a change under the Admin Control Panel and then manually moving some threads to the newly created sections... But it would be worth the effort, in order to have the same level of organization that we already see for the Panasonic sections.
