Hallo
If someone help me with some advice,
I want to buy two cinema lenses-:) Samyang 8 mm and Samyang 85 mm,
If someone uses them, especially the 8 mm behave well?
I worked more with pmw ex1 and now I begin to shoot the wedding with C100

I purchased a sigma 17-50 2.8 which is quite good and is very good, may I have some canon lenses but none sufficiently opened as the samyang 8 mm,and I need one to the religious ceremony

are ok?

Thanks

thanks Spartacus

on Monday I will go to the samyang

I have to test and 14 mm, but I already have a 17-50 and I was thinking to a withe.

and 14 mm on the apsc C100 is 22 mm,and in a big church you don't really help a 22 mm
Maybe a tokina 11-16 was ok but it's too expensive

yup 14mm is good for my C100.

My principle is that, the wider the frame, the more money you put into the frame. it means you need a higher budget for wider frames, like blockbusters.

Tokina 11-16 @ 11mm it looks like a fisheye for me.

but again, it can be fixed in AE

ok, so I have a sigma 17-50 is,canon 17-40,canon 24-70 II,70-200 2,8 IS II..please help with the recommended lenses for C100?use it only for shooting at the wedding.
before we filmed with pmw ex1r and was simpler, a single lens-:)
I prefer something from the samyang/rokinon is not overly expensive,I was thinking to just 8 mm for shooting in the Church, I don't know if the 17-50 is enough to fill a couple of frames in withangle.I am the first wedding with c100 next week,

I never got used to the waiform canon:)-I do not know how to read it and I prefer the zebra at 70

Thanks

Why not just put that 17-50 on your C100, drive to that church and see for yourself if it´s wide enough...?
(Or use a similar church, in europe most countries have a certain style and resemble each other, at least old churches).
Again, maybe Romania is different, but a fisheye at a wedding...?

Personally Im a L lens man myself and I do both video and photography so I mainly use for outdoor weddings is the Canon 16-35L, Canon 70-200L 2.8 IS, Canon 24-105L. For indoor Weddings I use the Canon 35L, Canon 24-70L, and Canon 135L.
