C100: C100 Rolling Bag

For those looking for good C100 case or rolling bag for the C100 this is my Thinktank Airport Security II that has been repurposed for the C100. I think it works well. This is my kit for local shooting and event work. I have the Pelican 1510 for airline travel. I just can't bring myself to risk having to check a bag (as opposed to a hard case)

inside is the C100 with 17-55 attached. 5d mark II with 16-35, 70-200 f4 under the handle, 50mm 1.4, 2 sennheiser G3 systems, headphones, chargers, batteries and various other knickknacks. Heavy...yes, but still room for more stuff!

Looks good. I'm looking for a bag where I can leave the top handle and shotgun mic attached. No luck yet,

Think this would work well for C300 as well?

Yes. I have about an inch of clearance and from the specs the c300 is only about .3 inches taller. Should be a good fit. I have seen some people laying their cameras into bags sideways but that looks like an accident waiting to happen to me...especially if the grip is attached.

Andy,

Great purchase I use the Think Tank Airport Security, and the Think Thank Accelerator Back Pack. Both carry on and loads of gear with me. I have had the roller for 4 years and it is the best bag I have owned until the backpack which is right there with it. Happy Travels.

I'm using the Thinktank pro Hard drive.. it fits well. but it's a lil heavy for the back if it is carrying for a long period of time. IMG_7306.jpg

Here's my Think Tank Airport Takeoff quickly packed to see if it will do what I need it to do. I don't do much ENG type stuff so I don't need to grab and go with the cam assembled. However, it "appears" to work well in this bag thus far. C100, plus GH3, plus zooms, plus a couple of small primes for my GH, plus battery stuff, Rode shotgun, m43 adapters and a few other odds and ends. The way the backpack straps and telescoping handle work in this causes a pretty good raised area in the bottom center of the bag, hence trying to stick the C100 with lens on it won't work (that I tried) - I've got to again say how much I like the think tank brand. Pricey, but I've been very, very happy with this bag.
