C100 rig with ninja

No but it comes with less crap and is more streamlined from production to post than a C100 + Ninja/Nano. Which is worth the extra $8000 to me.

Buddy,

Let's do the simple math again.

You have:

1- Nano Flash (an extra box that sits on top of your camera or wherever you place it)

1- HDMI cable (this is an extra cable running from your camera to the nano flash)

1- Swit battery (You now have an extra cable running from your battery compartment to the nano flash)

1- CF Card (you are now responsible for carrying around extra media)

OR

I buy a C300 and I just worry about pushing the record button. I personally am tired of the extra crap I have to plug into a Camera to make it do what I want.

well i have to say i am sorry, i did not understand the original comment i replayed to completely...... i posted 1,2,3 things comparing C100 with ninja and c100 with nano...... i lost the sentence where u told u prefer c300 instead of c100 with add ons... sorry for misunderstanding....

anyway what i want to say is that to me c100 with nano much better for handhold then c100 with ninja....

and i would not want to put anything on top of c300 - as its kind of heavy already, i played with it again yesterday in canon shop.... and i cant say its so easy to operate handheld with it when u have monitor and zoom lens. its not light! the weight is same as any other cam or even heavier... but i still love the control - iso while its something !!! , EVF - love it! easy to focus

How about this for a crazy outlandish suggestion... just use the internal recording and stop worrying about bitrates.

If I end up with this camera that's my plan. I'm going to try the internal codec first, then upgrade if necessary.

I just have to say, coming from the fs100 the motion artifacts I was getting with avchd was atrocious. It grades well, but it leaves a lot of junk behind especially with fast moving objects.
