C100: C100 recorded hours?

I'm considering buying a used C100 (first gen), and am wanting to know if there's a way to tell how many hours of recording the unit has done? or even how many hours the unit has been switched on?

I know some DSLR's have a numerical count for shutter actuation's. Is there any such feature on the C100 to confirm operating/recording hours?

The current discounted price of the C100 is great, and I'd love a factory warranty, but here in Australia it's still a $6000 (AUS) camera. Importing from the US, with exchange rate, shipping, and import taxes, etc, it's still no cheaper.

Either a long wait, or a 2nd hand unit is my only current option.

Thanks for your time.

Whoa! Hold on to your wombat! Lemac has the C100 MKI + DPAF + Ninja 2 @ AU$4995:

or AU$4495 without DPAF:

Assuming you can also claim back your GST, that's a decent price - and also flog off the Ninja 2 if you don't want it, bringing the actual cost to below $4000.

Even the C100 MKII has dropped from AU$7175 to AU$6715.

I'd say no one was going to pay the original prices post NAB. The low Australian dollar + high Canon pricing strategy with no sub AU$20K 4K Cinema EOS camera hopefully forces them to re-evaluate the Aussie market before Sony and BM wipe them out. :D

Thanks for that, Matt. I could have sworn not a week ago I was on their site and the gen1 was approx $6k on its own.

That +Ninja combo has sold me (so long as the deal exists in a few weeks). Even the MKII is enticing at that price.

I appreciate the heads up.

They are maybe $3000 Canadian here in Toronto used... so definitely keep an eye on costs when buying for sure.
To find out hours -> turn it on -> hit status, flip a few pages over, you'll find hours.

Mine has 636 hrs on it - I've had it a year and half or so.

I would get the version without Ninja, personally. It's not a really great piece of kit or worth it IMO.
There doesn't seem to be a body only for the C100 MKI, I'm sure Lemac would quote you on it Russ.W.
also, yes, I think it was a very recent price drop.

Do you know of that is "recorded" hours, or "power-on" hours?
