I was wondering if anyone knows how a C100 or C300's 4k sensor at 1080p compares to BMCC's 2.5k sensor delivering at 1080p. I'm more curious about ProRes, but I guess technically RAW is also comparable.
Can't say much about C100, C300 I have seen side by sides and the C300 will deliver a slightly more resolute image, will have far less moire and much less aliasing as far as a 1080P deliverable goes.
BMC has more artifacts than c300
what are you curious about specifically? dynamic range, noise to signal ratio, highlight role off?
First of all, thanks for everyone's input.
Interesting, I didn't really imagine that. On paper it would make sense I suppose.
theres aliasing in the first shot! Panning or tilting will reduce aliasing any sort of motion will
