C100: C100 or C300 1080 60p using a recorder

I'm guessing it does 1080i60 to 1080p30.

You can't get 60p from 60i, unless you simply double up frames, but then what is the point.

Just tried filming 1080i into 720p50 setting of Pix220, vs taking internal 1080i codec onto a 720p50 timeline in FCPX. Latter won. Native Pix recording did marvellous job of seeing noise and enhancing it during the down-scale. Internal 1080i recording placed on 720pto timeline with its interpretation set to upper field, interlace - it worked fine, looked better.

Although HDMI can do 1080p60, I think only Convergent Designs' Gemini does the hallowed 60p recording from a natively 60p camera such as the FS100.
