C100: C100 MkII ftp

Have any C100 mkII owners had real world experience with the ftp function? Interested to hear how it performs sending clips remotely to a ftp server. Problems? Tips? Workflow?

I occasionally send footage to TV newsrooms but at present, import to Avid, edit a compilation, export a compressed movie then upload to ftp. A lot of steps when there's a tight deadline! Would save a lot of time sending selected clips straight from the camera.

Thanks,
Mark.

I've only tried it on my local network at home but I can say it works even with the AP at one end of the hose and the camera at the other end. The only complaint is you have to copy each file one at a time no cueing up all the files on the card.

I really like the FTP function. I've set the camera up with my AT&T hot spot and I'm able to transfer all my proxy files quickly when I take a break during the shoot.

Tanuki2k, you can select all or multiple clips, you just need to go to Menu>Other Functions>Clips and it will let you select all or just some clips to put in the queue.
