C100: C100 MKII : default OLED luminance setting ?

Hi there

on my C100 MKI I had the backlight of the LCD set to high all the time, as it as easier to see, and I also found that it was more accurate to judge exposure...

on the MKII, what are you using as luminance setting for the OLED setup ? I find it also better to use with Luminance set to 'on', but thing is, each time you reboot the camera, it automatically goes to off. Are you experiencing the same thing ?

What setting are you guys using ?

Same here. Keeps resetting every time you reboot. Also the shutter speed/angle changes to a usually useless number after switching frame rates and bitrates.

I recently noticed the same thing too, that it automatically turns off when the camera is rebooted. Crazy, right? All the camera settings should be retained upon rebooting the camera. Makes the luminance setting difficult to use. Maybe a firmware update can fix that.


Pulling my camera out it looks like I've got brightness at +17, Contrast at 0, Color at 0, Sharpness at 4, Luminance Off (I sometimes turn it on when I'm outside and think about it), and Color Balance at 0.
 
I've been meaning to make this thread about the luminance setting. It's really annoying. Really hope they fix this with the first update.
