C100: C100 MARK II: Simultaneous AVCHD and MP4 recording?

I consider myself pretty tech savvy and almost feel embarrassed to ask this, but how can I enable this feature? I set SLOT A to AVCHD, switch over to SLOT B, and set MP4, and both slots switch to MP4. If I go back to SLOT A and set it again to AVCHD, then both slots switch to AVCHD. This is starting to drive me nuts, and I assume the solution is staring me in the face, not that Canon's manual is of any help.

Jarrod,

Go set the camera to AVCHD, and then go to Double Slot record under other Functions. You should have the option there to record On (AVCHD to both slots), MP4 (4 Mbps) (1280x720), and MP4 (3 Mbps) (640x360)

When I go to double slot recording, the only options are ON or OFF. Also, is it not possible to record AVCHD at 35 Mbps on A and MP4 at 35 Mbps on B?

But yeah, no idea why I am not seeing the options you are listing under "double slot recording". It's just ON or OFF for me.
