While purely speculative Id like to pose the question: After the 4k C300 Mark II comes out, do you think Canon will update the C100 Mark II to allow for higher bitrate internal recording?
I ask because the problem in using an external recorder (ninja and the like) via HDMI is that it bypasses the noise reduction which is what gives the C100 and C300 the look it has. If we could record at higher bit rates internally to the SD card it would solve the blotchy AVCHD codec issues where there is alot of movement in the frame (such as lots of water ripples or leaves blowing around).
The GH4 can record 200mbps internally to SD cards so is there any technical reason preventing the C100 Mark II from doing this?
