C100: C100 Mark II as a sports video camera?

Does anyone have experience shooting sports with the C100 Mark II (specifically water skiing in which the skier can accelerate across the wake at close to 60MPH; and do flips over the wake). We have plenty of Canon L zooms and primes for our stills photography business using 5DMark III. We have gotten some really good advice from other forum members that a pro camcorder would best for this (we were thinking of using a NikonD810 as we also have a lot of Nikon glass, but most likely not a good idea for high speed sports)). You need the right tool for the job.

Only thing going against it for your use might be the AVCHD - as you say there's a lot of fast action and that is not the strong point of AVCHD.
You're also limited to 60fps for slow-mo compared to many of the other cameras which can do ~100fps+ (FS7, FS700, GH4, A7s).

I've not used the DPAF on the C100mkII (I've not even used the original C100 for a few years, in fact) but I don't think the AF will be good enough to keep up with a fast moving waterskier - which means your Canon lenses may be just as useful when adapted to one of the other cameras mentioned.

Keep in mind NAB is only a few weeks away, so you might see something announced there that is better for your needs (C300mkII, anyone?).

Thanks for the info. Would I be better off with a camcorder (Panasonic AJ-px270, JVC GM-HM600, Sony PXW-X100/X200 are within our budget). We have already ordered a computer for ADKvideo (premiere pro based)
