C100: C100 II - Considering purchasing

Of course the camera has 24p (23.98) unless you're referring to true 24p, which almost all didn't back then.

Might need to use it in the 60Hz setting though.

IMHO, as someone who has owned several cameras that can shoot 24.0 fps, there is very little need or call for that feature. I've never used it and I have had several theatrical releases.
It's a non-factor for almost all users. As drummondb says, pretty simple matter to reinterpolate 23.976 to 24.0 but why would you need 24.0 if you're not going for a film out?

I think every “digital cinema” camera I’ve ever used, dating back to the original F900 had true 24p(24.00p)as a frame rate option. All five of my “cine” cameras can, including my original tape Vari.

But the only time anyone ever used it, at least in the US, was if they were going to do a film out. I’ve never shot 24.00, even when shooting a promo piece that was for theatrical run.

I never did a film out on any project although I crewed on a few that were shot at 24.0 and did make it to film. In 2020, I really can't see a reason for that feature. I don't think anyone is doing filmouts anymore, are they?
I don't think hardly anyone is even projecting film anymore, are they?

After weighing all the pros and cons I decided to go for the BMPCC 6K, though I don't need more than 1080p25 or 1080p30.
The main reason is that the BMPCC 6K can be jam-synced. I intend to record audio on the Zoom F4.
For sitting interviews and standing lectures, which will be my main use of the camera, manual focus with the aid of focus assist is good enough, especially on the 5" display of the BMPCC 6K. Should I need AF, follow focus and face detection, I have the Canon 80D.
Also, for stationary situations outdoors, screw-on ND filters (which I have) are good enough.
