C100: C100 hdmi

I am sure this was been covered, but will/can the C100 output 23.98 over HDMI? (or can a recorder record it?)
Seems like no matter what I set it to, my recorders all see it at 29.97.
Anyone?

This is a distinction with no meaning. The NTSC offset is 23.976. What the menu designation rounds it to is irrelevant.
 
I think to be accurate we'd have to say the C100 (or C300 for that matter) HDMI does not output 23.98.
It does output a pulldown flag but the recorder has to be able to interpret it. The Atomos devices like the ninja can do the pulldown and record 23.98 files.
