C100: C100/FCPX 60i walkaround not working anymore?

Hi guys just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue i'm having right now. I have the C100 mk1 and have forever used the 60i walkaround in FCPX, click deinterlace and presto nice 59.94p footage to slow down.

Sadly last night I noticed that's no longer the case, 60i clips (when imported into FCPX they show up as 29.97i) now only come up as 29.97p after pressing deinterlace. 59.94p is now nowhere to be seen. I've tried lots of settings (it was always on upper field) and nothing changes. Basically nothing has been changed my end in FCPX or camera, doing everything I have done for years. It worked up to a week ago but now no juice.

Anyone else have this issue or have an idea of what I could try? I noticed FCPX did an update last week and i'm hoping praying this is effecting it.

Thanks for any help, i've tried explaining as best I can.

Ze Canon Police do not permit workarounds, nein. You are not permitted to fake slow motion mit der C100 MKI, you WILL buy der C100 MKII in order to be permitted fake or real 60p.

Seriously though, no idea why. I have not updated FCP X but it would not surprise me if Apple changed something that no longer permits this.

Haha thanks mate I think i've sussed it, a friend just came over with his older version 10.1.3 and it works perfectly so it looks like you're right, Apple have changed something. Sigh was fun while it lasted

Just go Premiere. You know you want to.

I do. But being beholden to Adobe Corporation for a monthly charge for the rest of my working life feels a bit too Orwellian. Petition them to release the fiscal hold on our plums and they would see a lot more switchers. Sod forced extortion on my computers.
