C100: C100 connection problems to Ninja 2

Hi. I normally shoot video on my D800, but rented a C100 & Ninja 2 for a larger budget production I'm working on the next few days.

I can't get the Ninja 2 to see the C100. It does however connect and record correctly to my D800.

This is what I've tried:
-3 different hdmi's
-updated firmware on the Ninja 2. C100 is current.
-HDMI menu settings are set to timecode on
-I've tried with the C100 set to fixed or pulldown.

-I've tried with every framerate (60i, pf30, 24p).

I'm thinking it's the HDMI out on the C100. When I hook in one of my HDMI cables, I do see a few tiny lines flickering on the Ninja screen, when I unplug it those disappear.

Is there any way to check the HDMI out on the C100?

Is there any other button/menu/setting that I've missed??

thanks!

You could try plugging the HDMI out of the camera to an HD monitor. Eliminate the recorder from the equation to see if it works. If not, then try a few different cables to make sure those aren't the problem. Better yet, Hooke a bluray player up to a TV via HDMI cable, then if it works, use that same cable that you know works to hook up the camera.

Thanks for the suggestions, and sorry for the late reply. I was traveling with it and just got back.

I was able to slow down and test it on a couple of different cables and an HDTV once back. First I verified that the cable and TV worked fine by using them with my D800, looked fine and clear.
Then I tried the same setup with the C100 and although I could get a picture on the TV, it was noisy and slightly green and red tinted. I'm thinking this corrupted signal couldn't be recognized by the Ninja of course. So, I'm guessing the HDMI out on the C100 was to blame, probably hardware, but I suppose could be software.
