C100: C100 Avid workflow

Can someone please tell me the workflow to import C100 25PF clips into Avid on a PC. Ideally without any additional plug-in or utilities. I'm on a shooting course with a small edit component where we have to use Avid. Not sure the tutor will be familiar with C100.

You need AMA C100 plugin .-) ,

or you can direct import clips to the 25p project (but longer clips will have 3 frames bug at connection 2GB parts, you can connect these subdivided parts in Total Commander before importing).

There is no problem with 25PF in Avid MC, just delete the motion effects in 25p timeline (green dots on clips).
 
I haven't used 25PF, but for 24P, I AMA link in the files, then transcode to DNXHD 175. Edit away. Export w/Sorenson Squeeze.
 
Thanks a lot for the info. Is there a specific C100 AMA plugin? I could not seee it on the Avid site, just the Canon plugin for XF codec. Also, does it require media composer 6?
 
Sorry, my mistake, AMA XF Canon plugin is only for XF100/XF300, you need Avid AMA AVCHD plugin. I have both instaled.
