C100: C100 Auto power off?

Just wondering if there's an Auto Power Off for the C100.
I have twice now left the power on, and drained the battery. I only own one battery. Takes me out of the picture for hours.

unfortunately there no such option. I've been wishing for such option as I've on a few occasion forgot to switch the cam off and the batt is drained dead.
I also wonder why there's no standby button. the restaring is slow. Since this cam is designed for event videographer, they should have an option where we can standby the cam when not in used but can turn on fast when required.

Thanks. That is unfortunate, especially for us forgetful people. Your request for a standby-mode is a really a great one.

Buy a BP-975! A spare battery is the first thing I purchase at the same time as a new camera. Personally I think the BP-955 is a better battery for the C100 as it's smaller and doesn't stick out, but if you are prone to leaving it on the BP-975 will last all day.

This is a definite "must have" for the C100. Given the lack of auto-off, without an extra battery, it's just a matter of time before you show up for a shoot with nothing but a dead battery.

I got myself a few wasabi batteries as backup when the original 955 run out of juice. They are cheap and damn long lasting!
