Hi Guys

is is it possible to record a shotgun mic to channel and a wireless lav to channel 2

so so I have two types of audio?

If if so how do I do this?

Of course it's possible. Switch both inputs to ''Ext''. Then switch to ''mic +48v'' for the shotgun and to ''mic'' for the lav. And switch both inputs to manual.

You need to make sure that the audio input in the menu is set to record CH1 & CH2.

Okay the correct audio input menu option for "XLR Rec Channel" is "CH1" (after you moved both switches on the handle to EXT). After you close out of the menu, the bottom right corner of the LCD should say "CH1/CH2" and will be recorded separately.

In order to split the tracks in premiere, import all of the clips as usual. Select all of the clips, right click on one of them in the project window -> Modify -> Audio Channels: Number of Audio Tracks: 2 , Channel Format: MONO ---> click OK. You will now have 2 audio tracks attached to you video.
