C100: C100 and C200 grip extension cable - same?

I'm wondering if the grip extension cable for the C200 works on the C100 mk2?

I'm looking at the Shape C200RE cable, anybody has any experience?

From the photos it looks the same as the cable for the C100.
 
I have the Shape C200RE for my C200 and it works great. That said, I don't know if it would be practical to use on the C100. The C200 has a redesigned cable coupler in that it plugs into the outside of the grip as opposed to inside the screw-in area on the C100 (or the C300 and C300 MK II for that matter). So you'd have to attach it to a grip extension system with a hollow screw-in mount to use this particular cable.

Forgive me if that doesn't make sense lol, I don't know what to call the screw-in piece of the grip.

This is a rather expensive product and would require your handle extension to use ARRI rosettes but I can vouch that it is a great product for the C100. We rent them all the time for our C300 MK IIs
 
The cable itself does connect and function in the same way to C100/C300 bodies. But the C200 handgrip itself doesn't fit the previous attachment style.

I had both for my C100 MKI and C300 and the Wooden was more reliable and worked better. Too bad I sold them all off earlier this year at bargain basement prices, you could have scored a deal with me!

I managed to get the shape relocator bracket rather cheap (only bidder) and I see that the Shape C200RE cable is also cheaper to find than the C300RE but they look the same on the photo.

Just wanted to know if the cable works on C100 :)
