C100: c100 AF face tracking - any STM lens?

I'm looking to fly my C100 on a Ronin and want a fairly wide angle light pancake lens, probably either the 40mm or the 24mm, and I noticed that both of them are STM lenses. Does that mean that I can use them for auto focus with face tracking? The manual doesn't list them as supported lenses for face tracking, but they are STM lenses an maybe just came out after the manual was printed?

Any suggestions?

To the best of my knowledge (which I'll be honest haven't been up on this subject lately) only select zooms support this feature. With that said, and you can search gimbal posts on this forum, the 10-18 STM is the lens to use for flying the C. I personally only have experience flying an 11-24 and almost never have it zoomed-in fully when on the Steadicam.

According to Canon, only these lenses are compatible with face detection AF

EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM
EF-S 55-250mm F4-5.6 IS STM
EF-S 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 IS STM
EF-S 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS STM
EF-S 10-18mm F4.5-5.6 IS STM
