I read a review on the Ninja 2 here

and it said
"The Ninja 2 handles the 1080/50i HDMI out from the C100 well and stores the content as true progressive frames even though the camera can’t actually do the same itself with the internal AVCHD codec".

If this is true then that's the same as 720 50p really right?

That's what stopped me getting a C100 (or two) and seling my Sony Ex3 because I also need good Sports Camera. for Slo/Mo.

As we are so near Nab I am going to wait and see does th new Camras replace or push down the price on the C100

You may want to check out the Pix220 (or the 240 which has HD-SDI too and may be a better long-term investment). It has a party trick that squishes 1080i down to 720p50 on the recording. I have to say that I've not actually done this using my Pix yet - though this has been a standard procedure in post for a while (I used to convert the Z1's HDV 1080i to 720p50 for editing).
