C100: C100 2014 Price Drop

Just got wind to hold off until tomorrow to pickup a C100. Canon is dropping the price down to $4999 for a C100, body only.

Do you think Canon will offer the C100 with the new AF upgrade for $4999 after they begin the upgrade program?

I think Canon stated that the AF upgrade will stay as an upgrade. Never know. I wish the Dual Pixel upgrade was more like how it works with the 70D but without a touch screen it would be harder to control.
 
Thanks for the tip Rick. Makes the decision between a used F3 and a new C100 pretty hard.

Also, the C500 price has been dropped to $16,999. I'm sorely tempted, but I still don't have enough clients asking for 4K to justify the cost :/

The lens rebates are extended to March, however, so I will be rounding out my CN-E prime lens now that the 35mm it out!
 
The $16,999 price is taking into account the current $3k instant rebate being offered by Canon right now. It expires on Jan 4, so if you want that price you better act quick!
 
Bummer, I bought my 2nd C100 on Dec 2nd. Only used it once. I think the $4999 is a good price for it. That where it should have started at.
 
Usually the UK drops first and we don't notice till we do the maths, happened last year right before I bought mine.

If buying in the UK i'd wait till BVE end of Feb, offers.
 
Some dealer on dvinfo posted about c100 for 4499....................

C500 - $19,999...C100 - $4999.....but you can still take advantage of all the rebates until Saturday so you could "double dip"....

Just wanted to say "Thanks" to the OP. Bought my C100 on Dec. 10th. I called B&H and they had no problem crediting me for the difference:)
 
Damn. No price drop for the C300?! :(
Almost the same price as the C500. But on B&H it says only till Jan 4th. So, temporarily

The rebates are still in effect through tomorrow, so if you buy the camera and an L lens that meets the requirements you'll get $500 back from Canon making it effectively $4499. (as long as you actually need or sell the lens and file the rebate)
