C100: C100 + 11-18 IS STM - experience?

I'm looking at purchasing the 10-18 IS STM lens to go with the C100. I've had use of the EF-S 10-22 for a while on loan but it has to go back. I've found that I almost never use the 22mm end of things and 18mm would be fine (I'd use the 24-105L for the 24mm end of things).

Any experience good or bad with this lens attached to the C100?

[Edit: Sorry about the subject typo 11-18 instead of 10-18 - any way to edit this? ]

I use the 10-18mm a lot for wedding receptions and whenever I need very wide shots in tight locations. Its so much more lighter than the 10-22mm. At 10mm there's distortion but that should be expected.

11-18 is lighter than 10-22?
Damn - I thought the 10-22 was pretty light (its quite a bit heavier than the tokina 11-16).
I might look into the 11-18

Those of you that have used it, how well does DP AF work on it?
So far it is fast and sharp. In all honesty with this range of lens the depth of field is so deep anyway, if it is ever hunting or looking for focus I can't really see it. I value this as more of an ENG type of lens for when I am needing to document something that is happening fast and cannot take the time to setup and manually focus. It is a joy to use so far. But probably not a great candidate for "cinematic" images....other than landscapes and establishing locations.
