C100: C-Cup

I have been testing out the c-cup on the c100 and it is definitely an improvement over the evf by itself in terms of blocking out light, point of contact, etc. However, one of the issues I'm having is that the periphery of the image seems to be slightly obscured, which is a little distracting. I think it's because the distance that the eyecup puts between your eye and the EVF, which is already pretty small and made even smaller. Anyone notice this? Any workarounds?

I'm not sure if this is much help, but I find (after ensuring it is snugly fit as possible) simply pulling it to the left/right will eventually get you into a better position, where the opening is stretched out revealing as much of the EVF screen as possible. Maybe you've already done this, but I find if I play with it a bit I get pretty well all of the image showing.

The C-Cup is still the best option, I think, but it's worth giving the Blue Star a try, maybe you'll prefer it.

Thanks, Slavik. Nice article. I guess what I'm trying to do is get my eye a bit closer to the evf screen because it's so small. I'll give the blue star a try for $7.99
