Where is a good place to buy DVX100A?
I looked ebay and they were selling it for $2800. Seems pretty good.
and with a few accessories like hard case, tripod, and filters for $2900.
What do you think? Is it a good place to buy?

Also, I wanted to get an extra battery (3500mh), but is panasonic original battery better or is aftermarket battery OK to use?
The guys selling aftermarket battery says it has longer life and better performance than the original, but I don't know if I can trust them.
But it's a lot cheaper than the original though. (around 60bucks)
Does it have any chance of damaging the camera if I use aftermarket batteries??

These questions are addressed here over and over again. Please spend a few minutes and look at some of the existing threads that discuss vendors, buyinga DVX, rebates, etc.

The short answer is buy it from B&H or EVS, Buy your aftermarket battery from this site.

Oooops Sorry.
I didn't know there was a buying DVX section.
I searched here but nothing came up..but it's all good now.
Thanks!

keeep reading, but make sure that you do NOT buy the first thing you mentioned, $2800 ebay.

I think if your going to spend the money then do yourself a favor and get a new DVX from an authorized dealer. You'll feel alot better about it even if it does cost more.

Well, if you buy the camera from an authorized dealer before July 31st, you will get a 5400mah battery for free!

Yeah, I found out that I get an extra 5000mah battery and a box of MQ tape!
I don't think I'll buy it from eBay..
I will buy it from an authorized dealer.
Thanks so much for the info guys!!
