Has anyone here bought the A-1 from buydig.com ? If so wondering if there was any issue as to whether they are an authorized dealer in repect to the rebate. Probably pulling the trigger today but want some confirmation of this first. Thanks

Thanks Barry. Yeah I noticed that on their site too but I guess I was hoping they were just listing brick and mortar authorized dealers. Oh well it's all over but the crying now. After agonizing for over a year I finally pulled the trigger and made the purchase. Should be an adventure!

Buydig may not be listed on Canon's site, although I do not know how, BUT...I purchased mine from them and got my rebate and excellent service. I scratched my lens about 3 weeks after I got it and they told me to ship it back and they would replace it. I did ship it back and they did replace it with another brand new one. Kudos to Buydig.com They are a great place to buy the Canon XH-A1 and I NEVER promote any web retailer unless I have experience with them. J

Thanks for the encouraging news! Yeah I decided to deal with them again because I got my last camera (panasonic gs400) from them and their service was great. With all the stories you hear about shady e retailers it's nice to go with someone you trust. Now if only the damn thing would arrive already! Just kidding it's only been foour days.

I've bought there too. I think they're a good solid dealer. But the question was: are they authorized, and the answer has to be no.
