^ Hey man guess it was a good thing I waited... lol Cam/kit lens ships from new egg tomorrow for 1909.79 minus the $20 rebate they gave for having to wait so long an constant bitching and now $50 from canon that comes to 1839.79... YAh can't complain... will be here on my B-day tuesday... Thanks Canon....
 
Wish I had registered my 300D way back when...

Please note, this rebate only applies if you actually registered your previous camera with Canon... you can't just buy the 7D and get it, sadly :(
 
Wait what? So your saying I have to have previously owned a Canon camera, and not just have purchased the 7D, that doesn't sound all that right.

It's a loyalty rebate. You have to have previously owned one of the previous cameras, REGISTERED IT (I didn't do this =/, but I'm still going to try) and purchased a 7D within their window.

That was the only reason I HAD to pick it up last weekend, I needed it for this weekend and I wanted a couple days to get familliar with it.

to the member who bought oct. 10... well, it might be too much work but i would take it back to the store, get a full refund. then go in the next day and buy the camera again (assuming they have them or would resell yours to you).
