LOL, but not a funny situation for me. In other circumstances I would be laughing alongside you. But right now.........not really. Witnessed shooting 20 yds. in front of me. Able to ID shooters. Rendered aid to victim, now involved. Location 1/4 mile from my house. Need to cover my 6, just in case. I won't be issued a CCW, so gonna have the next best thing.

Doc - Most people would have run in the opposite direction. I have a lot of respect for those who run towards danger when people are in need. Thank you for being one of America's everyday heroes. Be careful out there.

In the situation you describe/find yourself in, I would not "fool around" looking for an individual on the internet willing to sell his body armor. One, you have no idea how it's been cared for. Even just age can weaken the materials. Two, you have no assurance of the material or construction.

It would be appreciated if we could limit responses whether someone has what Doc had asked to purchase, and not generally discuss Doc's situation.
