"BULLET OF LIFE" Action/Drama Short Film Grabs

Hi, have been working real hard on this 30 minute short film entitled "Bullet of Life" about Asian and Russian gangsters. About half way through the shooting and thought I'd post some grabs up! Would really appreciate feedback on the lighting (if you think its too dark, or if the color correction needs work). So far, I've spent about 1.5 months writing the story and about two weekends so far shooting. The hardest scenes are yet to come...ooo

personally i like crushed blacks and the very dark look. but some of the stills seemed too dark. creative lighting would definately help to bring out some of the characters and create more contrasting images.

yeah, but what editing software are you using and what did you use for your color correction?

i'm a fan of the dark films too, although the first grab the actors blend a little too much with the black background.....maybe get some more overhead lighting in the future and aim it at their shoulders.

I really like them! # 4 & 5 are my least favorites but the rest are really sweet looking!

probably underdid the lighting in a few...but no more dark scenes from now on

anyways, i use vegas for color correction, maybe magic bullet in one or two shots

Hey Young-H._Lee, courage for you latest movie man! Nice stills you got there.. Unfortunately I couldn't watch any of the movies on your website because I am connecting from a dial up network. How much is the budget for your latest movie if you don't mind me asking? Also what do you think of the DVX100 after having shot on it many times? What are you editing and doing the post work on?
