Building a Captain Stubling on the Cheap

I have looked around and have decided that the RedRock Captain Stubling would work great for me. I don't see the need for a shoulder support (well, basically it is just a way to save money really to do away with it), but this gives hand grip support and follow focus and i assume you could get longer rods for a mattebox if needed (though once again, not me bc of money).
So i am wondering if this same design could be done another way but I need help with the parts. Could anyone help out?

Looks to be
1. DSLR baseplate
2. 12inch rods
3. Follow Focus (which I will probably go with the indisystem.com choice for money)

i like this forum members' rig quite a bit but it looks like the gini rig comes all put together and that ebayer does not read english well enough to reply to emails, but here is the gini rig that mocks the stubling:

This guy sells very good products, very well designed (almost identical to Zacuto), but his shipping is very high.
He's also bad at replying to questions, but he ships very quickly, you have it in less than a week.

I agree. I've bought enough for a few rigs up to this point. I always get some kind of deal and I try to buy a couple extra pieces that I might need, at the same time, and have him combine shipping.

Get some extra rods and bits and you've got an adult lego kit...hours of fun:)
