I like the fact that on the DV30 you can add the handle, add a mic on top of that, add xlrs (although on a red xlrs would be standard) however I like the fact that you can strip down a DV30 and it look like a consumer cam - great for places where you need to not be noticed and they think you are a consumer and yet buildable to look like a bigger camera in front of your client. Some clients do think that size matters..
