Between the location and re-enactment, that should lend some real authenticity to the film.
Plus we get a history on lever action rifles. :kali:

Hey I had an uncle that was really big into civil war re-enactment. He used to have tons of costumes if you're interested.

Thanks Justin, of course I'm interested. Where does your Uncle live, maybe I'll put him in the film as well.I didn't get as much B-roll as I had hoped to at the reenactment but they have another one in May I'm going to try to get to. I did find a place to get patterns to make Civil War and Old Western costumes.
 
He lives in Republic...but he's probably to old to do it now, still he has lots of good stuff. If you got a part in the movie for me, I might even tell you how to get a hold of him! ;)
 
Well, it looks like I won't get to finish this film. We have had some personal family illnesses that will keep me too busy to continue with this piece. Hopefully I'll be able to compete in the next one. Good luck all.
 
Hang in there man... family ALWAYS comes first. There is always another fest coming down the pipe.
