Broken ND Filter Switch

Hi! I was cleaning a DVX100B and I started cleaning the ND switch and then all of the sudden the plastic peace that is attached to the switch broke off? I am wondering if anyone has had this problem and if so how do you get it fixed. The camera is currently not covered under warranty. Since it is not covered under warranty, how much will it cost to get it fixed. Please get back to me as soon as you can. Thank you very much!

only the bottom below the switch is broken off, but it is still functioning!

You mean just the plastic tab sticking out has simply broke off right? Never heard of that, your best to just take it to a decent specialist and have them fix it.. probably have to order the part

Not the actual tab, just the piece that is behind the tab. Like you have the one sticking out and then the backing which is black and covers the interior of the camera. I will post pictures as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your inquiry!
