Broke the AF100.

My suggestion is to anyone that has had a problem, even if it has stopped doing it, to contact Panaosnic service, and in the US that means either our LA office or Secaucus, NJ.

Thanks,

Jan

I mailed off my AF100 to the Secaucus office & they have had it since September 30th. Before shipping it, I checked to see how long they would need it: "one week."

After a week and a half passed with no word, I called them up and found out that they were "waiting on a part to come in." The following day someone else from Panasonic called me and let me know that he was unable to replicate the color-screen I had experienced but he would be mailing it back shortly. Fingers crossed it arrives in the mail by Thursday, otherwise I'm going to have to rent something for my next shoot.

Point being, if anyone else needs to ship theirs in, be prepared to be without a camera for quite awhile.

But you can check the option to have a replacement camera if it takes longer than what's in the guarantee. Atleast I could do that in Europe.

Thankfully the camera arrived today!
For future reference, does anyone in the states know about the replacement camera option? I called Panasonic & they told me to send it in, but there were no forms to fill out or replacement options to check.
