I've checked the list of authorized dealers for Canon and see that Broadway is not included. Does anyone have any experience buying an A1 from them? Was so the warranty included? Right now they've got it for $2999.99. They also have the DXVb for $2099.99. I was pretty sold on the A1 until I saw the DVXb's low price. I'm tempted to get the Panasonic and invest the difference in the feature I'm shooting.

Here is their MO: You order online for the low, low price of $2099 for the DVX. Then when you to call to "confirm" the order the hard sell begins. Before you know it you've ended up spending $5000 on the camera and absolutely "essential" accessories such as the charger that comes with the camera, for only $200! You say you only want the camera? Now it's suddenly out of stock and won't ship for many months. Stay away.
