(tried this question a while back in the output forum, no takers... but this regards work done with my 150, so...)
Lately I've had some clients want some footage I shot for the web used for broadcast. Generally, if I'm shooting for broadcast, I use 30p; this stuff is all 24p.
I've delivered 24p spots to stations & cable before, just sent a 1080/24 file with bars/tone/slate etc and no problems. I've got some cable co. specs that want everything 1080i/60 , and they've said they will bounce anything differing. So I've just output my 24p edit to those specs, either straight from the timeline or via compressor for those who want MPEG. Everything went through OK and it played back well on my system.
Just wondering though - is that the recommended way to deal with 24p, going to 1080i/60; will most dub houses and stations take 24 or 30 progressive?
