Breaking Bad

Except for Gus.
I actually wasn't surprised by this. It's the Gus they warned us about last season but we are only now really seeing him in action.

Don't forget, this guy had a child dealing meth and then had him killed to tie off loose ends later. Gus runs the show. You don't get to be in his position without getting blood on your hands. Walt is following in those footsteps quite nicely.

He'll team up with Mike and try to take out Gus this season.

Still wonderful. Going back a couple weeks, I've been re-watching the excellent scene where Gus and his partner meet with the Mexican drug lord.

Question: Is the old man in the wheelchair the same actor as his younger self in that flashback?

Yeah, it's the same guy, which is awesome, and I'm not sure but I think in the flashbacks they have thrown in little teases about whatever ailment he has showing up in small amounts back then.

Thanks. Yeah, I just love that scene. The color grading, the acting, the overall tone. Plus I feel like I'm learning how to speak Spanish. For example, now I know meth amphetamines is "metanfetaminas".

LOL @ "bikers y hillbillies"

The whole flashback things is great, really creating a whole new dimension to the show. I want a spinoff show about Gus' formative years in Peru.

Very strange seeing Gus anything but well-composed. I'm obviously referring to the murder of his partner (in the flashback) but also his beckoning of the rifleman.

Wow...Walt's breakdown in front of his son was one of the best pieces of acting I think I've ever seen. Heartbreaking...And I guess it's a good thing Jesse spent all that time playing first person shooters!

Yes, between that and the ending, that was an amazing episode. Wow.

Such great writing. Boom, great examples of setups and pay-offs. What was it that Mike pulled off of Don Iladio's neck at the end there?

Definitely lived up to its reputation as the best show on TV tonight. Cranston's been blowing me away these past couple episodes.

Best show on TV ever. End of discussion. :D

Amazing cast, my gf just met Aaron Paul today and said he seems like a genuinely nice and appreciative guy. Always like hearing actors and celebrities I like are actually cool people too.

Love it. I'll be a little disappointed if this season ends how I thought it would from the beginning but the journey has been far different than I thought it would be.
Last nights ending was awesome! Just great.

+1 What a great show

Make that plus 2 or 3 or 4, we all seem to love this season.

I can't think of any better drama (or whatever you want to call it) offhand.

I thought Walt was going to rise to the role of kingpin, but is he now just a man on the run? His power struggle has taken a turn for the worst. Great writing, as always.
