Brand New P2 Genie?

Is this just a rumor or should i be anticipating it? I really dont want to use a pc.

There are updates in the works, but the PC and Mac version of P2 Genie have separate developers, separate code bases, and slightly different feature sets.

Are you asking because of concerns with transfers from P2 cards on the Mac?

i had one problem with my powerbook but that was due to a corrupted hardrive. However i read posts here of others who experience problems with their powerbooks and they dont mention anything of corrupted hardrives. i just want to be sure

I'm pretty sure Anders Holck said that the next revision of the Mac version would include some data verification process, so that should remove any worries. No idea when it'd come out though.

FWIW, I haven't had any problems so far (knock on wood) with transfering P2 either to my Powerbook or to my MacBook Pro, using FCP or P2 Genie.
