bout to order the 7D. what Accessories should i get?

finally bout to get my 7D even though i hear rumors of Nikon's "D900"

I still luv the 7D.

So what should i get

Mic?
Lenses?

Should i stick with Nikon lenses or switch to Canon Lens??

Rode or H4N?

what do you suggest?

I suggest that you define what you want to accomplish with it and work backwards to list out what you need.

It's funny, before you get the camera you think you need every accesory under the sun. All video guys need two things. A decent tripod and a descent mic set (perferably wireless). Especially important if you plan on charging for your work.

I have both and when I sold my old camera, none of my gear becomes obsolete. Basics first, then shop til your heart desires!!! (mine is lenses now )

haven't bothered with sound yet but will get a H2N4 (?) when i've gathered a few sheets
