BOHARG II on vimeo

- shot on ex1 with a fast shutter at 60p
- the "story" developed while we were shooting
- look created in adobe premiere
- shot only 4h footage a day because we were so tired from all that running :)

Seen it...

I watched Boharg II. Then again. Then again. It's awesome. Straight hands down awesome. Makes me slightly jealous but also inspires me to try harder. Nice work.

Just finished watching it for the first time. Really well-done. I was wondering what would happen. I really liked some of the camera work/editing.

Very nice surreal piece. Really screwed with my mind and kept me guessing as it went along. I really dug the camera work too, it was an interesting balance of steadiness and the more energetic nature of straight hand held. Did you use any stabilization devices or was it all pretty much hand held.

Awesome location too. I'm jealous. I love shooting in old run down buildings.

thank you guys for the comments!

@nektonic

i didnt use any stabilization, all shots are hand held.
but i dont see any steady shots in there :)

now we are brainstorming for the sequel...its gettin really crazy...

Pretty cool effects and shooting...don't mind saying...don't get it at all and the performance wasn't that impressive other than some physicality (the arm movements were interesting).

Shooting my current feature with the EX1 and we're pleased with it.

yeah you right, the performance is not really well, but the arm movements are unique :D

have fun on shooting with the ex1 !

Very cool looking footage, nice looking interesting location. I actually thoght the actor had a very interesting look perfect for this kinda piece.

I felt like i could use a bit more story, but you definetly have the tools and the talent to make something on a grander scale.

Awesome steady cam work, what steadycam were you using?

Nice work...I'm really jealous of the look and effects you pulled off. Awesome work.

Though, I would have preferred an actual story to tie it all together.

thanks for the good feedback, but why do you all think i used a steadycam :) ?

there is no single steadycam shot ;)

That looked really good. Really good! I loved. I was curious as to if he was going to give up toward the end and just take a shower, then have that guy (himself) see him in the shower from the other perspective. I really enjoyed this, though. I'm eager to watch the tutorial on AETuts.
