bmx montage

you have a lotta nice looking footage. Very clean. A couple shots looked like if the camera man was standing anywhere else, the shot wouldnt have looked as good.

what camera was used for the shot of the guy driving and holding something in his hands? i liked the look of that very much.

only bad thing is the use of the fisheye. I will never understand why every single piece of skatboard, inline, biking, extreme anything uses fisheye on every other shot. IMO fisheye ruins the footage, makes things harder on the eyes. I hate it. Use a different filter/lens. Be the guy who starts a new trend.

the guy holding the ipod while driving was shot with mike dawson 35 adapter. the fisheye i use is a century .3x ultra. thanks for the comments, much appreciated. sometimes fisheye just makes the shot, i like it, but i do agree, its over used a lot.

Nice compilation of shots. (Have to agree with fisheye being overused but like you say, it's a personal thing).

right there with you guys on the fisheye debate. WAAAY overused. But thankfully in rollerblading, it is becoming less and less important. To be honest, some of the videos coming around now are looking excellent. I'll have to get some up and show everyone what I mean.

the video was sick, by the way. I have much respect for bikers. amazing stuff.

What trails were those? Looked like push, but didn't those get plowed? I dropped out of the scene a while ago, but love when people post bmx vids, it makes me want to buy a bike.

most of the trails clips were either bakers or minersville. and yeah push is gone, but those guys have a few different new spots in the pittsburgh area. 22 was the big spot for a while but those got plowed. but yeah the fisheye debate can go on and on. i usually use it as a last resort if i cant find a longlens shot i like. and i'm the process of making a team pimpske video but we still have 2 more trips to do. so it should be done by late summer.
