What happened to the preexisting BMC threads? Are they being migrated or dumped?

[Jason Ramsey]

we copy/pasted a lot fo the important stuff over. You will find a link back to the previous threads over on the new site.

larry is working on actually bringing specific content from the database here into the database on the new site, so it isn't all just copy/pasted... but, an actual transfer of the data to the new site.

Good thing is it was only a few days worth of threads, so it'll be made up quickly on the new site, and some of the o.p's here have already ported their content over to bmcuser as well.

No doubt they 'sanitized' them of my posts

[ugafan]

will the new site feature a cult leader or no cult leader? if yes, i nominate terry_lasater.

What is BMC user exactly?

[Barry_Green]

What is BMC user exactly?

It's a dedicated community for those interested in the Black Magic Cinema camera. It's another in the family of LandMine communities, which include DVXUser, RedUser, ScarletUser, and now BMCUser.

Hi Barry!, what do you think about the bmc? did you write any comments about it? just curious...

I like many things about it, I think it's going to be a huge hit. Wish it had a more flexible lens mount, but other than that, for the price, it's astonishing. Of course, that's just based on specs and a brief examination at NAB, obviously it's way too early to actually be able to comment further about how it actually performs.

Now that there's a BMCuser, is it strictly forbidden to mention the BMC anywhere on dvxuser boards?
